Kurashiki English Camp

Every year in August an "English Camp" is held at the Yugasan youth nature camp in Kurashiki. The camp is a two day, one night event for junior and senior high school students attending schools or resident in Kurashiki.

The one hundred and fifty plus students who attend the camp, have the opportunity to interact with more than forty foreign teachers while speaking English, playing games, and learning about foreign culture. The camp is designed to be fun and provide motivation and opportunity to speak English and learn about the world outside Kurashiki and Japan.

Kurashiki English Camp is jointly sponsored by the following organizations:

• Kurashiki Board of Education
• Okayama Prefectural Junior High School Education Research, Kurashiki Branch - English Section
