I went to Kansas City for a homestay.
At first, it was my first time overseas, and I was worried. But it was all about the fun.
The most fun thing was going to the lake.
We got on the boat and we all jumped in together. It was fun to swim far.
In addition, the rice we ate by the lake was delicious.
What surprised me the most was that I went to the supermarket.
First, the size of meat and milk was different from japan. I was surprised that my host family bought a lot of.
I was also surprised to see a gun on it,
I felt the cultural difference.
The happiest thing was that everyone was kind.
The members helped me when I was in trouble. My host family was just as kind to me as family.
I thought it was a fun ending because a lot of people supported us. I'm grateful a lot.
Next I'll talk to my host family.
The first host family taught me the history of Kansas City.
I learned that a train developed this city at Union Station.
I had such a good time that I didn't want to go my home.
My second host family taught me about American life.
We went to the pool together and had a barbecue.
I was happy that the first host family came to both.
We played board games at night.
I laughed a lot, so it was fun.
This homestay became my property.
I'd like to go there if I get another chance.

私はこのホームステイで新しい世界を見てみたい、とにかくたくさんの事に挑戦したいという思いでこの企画に参加しました。自分はとにかく英語がコンプレックスで考えようとするだけで頭が真っ白になるぐらいでした。でも、海外に行ったら変われるかも、友達がいるなら行ってみようという気持ちで始まりました。
すべてを合わせた感想は、とにかく楽しかった!につきます。空港から始めて乗る飛行機､アメリカに着いたら、すべてが英語で、映画の中のような街並み、毎日が刺激的でした。その中でも一番楽しかったのはみんなで行った湖です。ボートで引っ張ってもらったり、一斉に飛び込んだり、遠くまで泳いだり、たくさんはしゃいで時間を忘れるぐらいでした。
ホームステイをする前は知らない人と長い時間を過ごすから、上手くいくか不安でした。でも行ってみたらそんなことはなく、向こうで一番落ち着く時間を過ごさせてもらいました。
１つ目のホストファミリーは初めての経験をたくさんさせてもらいました。まずカンザスシティについて教えてもらいました。ユニオン駅で電車がカンザスシティを発展させたと知りました。また連れて行ってもっらったスーパーではサイズに驚いたり、買い物の仕方を教えてもらったりしました。帰りたくないと思うほど楽しい時間を日々くれました。
２つ目のホストファミリーにはアメリカの生活を教えてもらいました。近所のプールに遊びにいったり、前のホストファミリーやいとこと一緒に庭でBBQをしました。また夜にボードゲームをして大差で負けたのもたくさん笑ったのでいい思い出です。
どちらのホストファミリーにもわからないことや、困ったことがあれば優しくゆっくり教えてくれました。少しでも楽しんでほしいといつも気にかけてくれました。家族と同じ様に接してくれました。今でも思い出すと嬉しくなるような場所でした。
今回のホームステイは自分の財産になる経験でした。
また機会があれば行ってみたいです。
