Hello. My name is Kiyonobu Nakanishi. Thank you for creating such a fun and educational environment for me.This study abroad was very fulfilling. I had fun.There are three things I enjoyed.
First, it was the first time I was on an airplane.I had never been on a plane.I wanted to get on a plane.I was excited to know that I would have the opportunity to get on a plane.However, when I saw the plane crash on the news, I became uneasy.However, when I actually got on it, it was a very safe and enjoyable flight.I wanted to get on an airplane again and go abroad.
Second, I spent my vacation with my host family.I had my buddy take me to many places.For example, farms and factories.The most memorable event was shooting a possum.At first, when my buddy told me to do it, I was scared and didn't want to do it.And actually shot. Then, I hit it with the second shot and was able to kill it. I was very happy.If I have the chance, I would like to do it again.
Third, my interactions with New Zealanders.New Zealanders were very friendly. So, I was able to enjoy the conversation without being nervous.The Fred family, who were most indebted to me, were always kind to me.Also, when I met someone for the first time, I always shook hands first.I had never done anything like that before, so I was a little nervous at first.However, I learned that the handshake is very important. It was transmitted from the warmth of the opponent's hand.
These two weeks were like a dream. It was so much fun.I told my friend that I went to New Zealand. Then I had a friend who wanted to go next time. I was happy. By all means, I want many people to go.I want to connect what I have interacted with many people this time to what I want to do in the future. Thank you very much for your patience, kindness and support.
僕とニュージーランド
僕は今回、初めて飛行機に乗り、外国に行きました。この機会を与えて下さり、ありがとうございます。僕は体験したこと全てに感動しました。特に印象に残ったことは3つあります。
1つ目は始めて飛行機に乗り、外国に行ったことです。僕はまだ、一度も飛行機に乗ったことがありませんでした。また、いつか外国に行ってみたいと思っていました。そして、その両方がかなえられると知り、待ち遠しくなりました。しかしニュースなどで飛行機の事故をよく見ます。だから、もし帰ってくることが出来なかったらどうしよう、と不安になりました。でも、実際に乗ってみると、とても安全で楽しい飛行でした。シンガポール空港やクライストチャーチ空港についた時も日本と変わらないくらいの感覚でした。将来、もっといろいろなところに行ってみたい、と思うようになりました。
2つ目はホストファミリーと休日にしたことです。主にバディと一緒に行動しました。農場に連れて行ってもらったり、工場見学をさせてもらったりしました。特に印象に残ったのは、ポッサムという害獣を撃ったことです。バディがクレー射撃をすることは知っていましたが、まさか動物を撃つとは知りませんでした。最初にバディから「銃を撃ってみよう」と言われたときは怖くてやりたくありませんでした。そして、夜に外に出て、銃を撃ってみると、2発目で当たり、しとめることができました。当たったことがとても嬉しく、貴重な体験だったので、今でも記憶に残っています。
3つ目は現地の人との交流です。ニュージーランドに行ったことがある先生から聞いた話と同じで、ニュージーランドの人々はとてもフレンドリーに接してくれました。一番お世話になったバディの家族は、いつも優しく接してくれてとても嬉しかったです。また、初めて会ったときは、最初に握手をしてから話をする、ということを日本ではしたことがありませんでした。しかし、握手をした相手の手の温かさから、「Nice to meet you.」という気持ちが伝わり、とても嬉しかったです。
毎日がとても充実していて、つまらないと思ったことは一度も無かったです。友達に留学のことを伝えると、行ってみたいと言っていた子がいました。ぜひ多くの人に行ってもらいたいです。今回多くの人と交流したことを、今後自分がしたいことにつなげたいです。
